On that day the Bhagavad-gita appeared, i.e. it was spoken by the Supreme Lord to His dear friend Arjuna on the battlefield of Kurukshetra for the benefit of all mankind. That is why we hold a fire sacrifice, where we make an offering in the holy fire for each of the 700 verses of the Gita.

9:00 am Start of the fire sacrifice
approx. 13.00 end of sacrifice
followed by Ekadasi Prasadam In the afternoon there is the possibility to chant together the Holy Names of the Supreme Lord – open end
