On Saturday November 26th, Pujyapad Bhakti Aloka Tapasvi Maharaja from Croatia will visit us. He is a disciple of A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Maharaja, one of the first, if not the first, from Croatia or what was then Yugoslavia. He was definitely the first Vaishnava to start preaching Sriman Mahaprabhu's message in Yugoslavia in the 1970's. Later he accepted the renounced state of life, sannyas, from our Gurudeva Om Vishnupad 108 Sri Srimad Bhakti Vaibhava Puri Goswami Maharaj. To this day he has retained his contagious enthusiasm and preaches mainly in Croatia and Italy, but also in other neighboring countries. He also built a temple for Sri Sri Gauranga Radha Gopinath and Jagannath in Pula.
